HOW TO TINKER WITH YOUR SOFA

I have been doing a lot of DIY projects lately and they are going well for me. I wanted to explain again on HOW TO TINKER WITH YOUR SOFA. It can be very expensive sometimes when you are shopping for furniture, especially a sofa. 

I will show you how to re-create your sofa without spending a lot of money. If you want a refreshed design, the key is to purchase stylish, whimsical and chic pillows. 

Step 1: Remove old pillows that look beat up or worn out. 

Step 2: Buy some stylish chic pillows that are whimsical and fashionable. 

Step 3: Buy a pillow that will be a “FOCAL POINT” pillow. That means to buy a pillow that stands out. Example: glitter pillow, large pillow, sequin or jeweled pillow. Then buy pillows that are solid but chic color pillows. 

Step 4: Arrange the pillows with style. Put the “FOCAL POINT” pillow in the middle and then arrange the sold color pillows around the focal point pillow. 

Step 5: Add a stylish scarf on the arm rest of the sofa. It gives the sofa a whimsical charm. 

Step 6: VOILA! You have a stylish sofa without spending a lot of money. 

I did this technique in my studio and for my fiancé’s place. 

Here is a before and after picture of my fiancé’s sofa that I tinkered. He had a small tear so I put a PASHMINA scarf 

over the tear.
