TGIF! Staying In on a Friday Night: Fun Things You Can Do?

Staying in or just a homebody? I have things that you can do on a Friday night.  You don't have to ware yourself out going out all night.  It is just good to have some me time and quiet time. Here are a few things to do at home on a Friday night.

P.S. Everyone can do this, I just put things where you can go in the city of Ohio for people who are visiting the state and for people who lives in Ohio like me.

1. After you get off work, if it is nice outside, you can go to the duck pond (if you live in the Cleveland area). You can walk around the park and feed the ducks bread.  Sounds corny but its relaxing. Or just eat a light snack and look at the view. If you visit Cleveland, you should see the beautiful site.

2. Buy a box of Godiva chocolates or Pepperidge Farm "Milano"cookies. You can find Godiva chocolates at the Godiva chocolate boutique inside Beach-wood Mall in Beach-wood, Ohio. I like to get a box of chocolates at the Godiva boutique because I want a sweet ending on a Friday night. I also buy Pepperidge Farm "Milano" cookies.  These cookies are so delicious and inexpensive. I usually get 3 bags of them!

3. You can go to the grocery store and buy some noodles, Alfredo sauce, chicken and broccoli to make broccoli and chicken Alfredo. You can make this at home for your Friday night dinner. for more Alfredo recipes, go to www.foodnetwork.com or www.recipes.com

4. When you get home, you can cook your Alfredo dish, set up your cookies and chocolates on a nice plate and then draw yourself a nice hot bath.  If you don't have a jacuzzi, you can invest your money in a portable one.  I bought mine for $99.00.  So your me time can be very relaxing. You can also buy yourself a wet or dry foot massager, and a back massager. Your place can be a spa lounge for the night.

5. Read, Watch a Movie, etc. You can read a relaxing book, or just watch a movie or DVD series. I always watch "Chick Flicks". But whatever makes you feel relaxed or entertained, do that!!! I sometimes read my old babysitters club books, or my Mandie Mysteries book that I had when I was a little girl. I also watch my old Rug Rats and Hey Arnold series as well (80's baby, 90's fad kid).

6. Whether you make your dinner, or buy it, buying your treats to eat or making them at home, make sure that you enjoy your "Me Time" Friday night.
