Beauty: Lemon-Orange Foot and Hand Scrub

Beauty: Lemon-Orange Foot and Hand Scrub

Springtime is here. I always love to smell orange and lemon zest in the morning around spring season.  I wanted to make a foot and hand scrub that I can use every morning. I used natural products and vitamin E for moisturizing my skin. Epson salt for scrubbing away dead skin cells, and lemons and oranges are used to boost your mood and energy. It’s aromatherapy and therapeutic. You can scrub this on your hands and feet. Give your mornings a boost by using this in the mornings. Place it in your bathroom to give your bathroom a vibrant atmosphere.  Here is the recipe for the foot and hand scrub.
Ready, Set, Kawai!!!

What you need:

- Airtight jar

- Teaspoon

- Vitamin E soft-gel pills (I bought them from Walmart)

- Ribbon

- Hand Held Cheese grater

- Knife

- Small Bowl

- Safety pin

- Measuring cup (If you need to measure)

Ingredients:

1 whole lemon
1 whole orange
1 ¾ cups of Epsom Salt
7 Vitamin E soft-gel pills

Directions:

Step 1:  Take your bowl and place the cheese grater on top of the bowl.  Take the lemon and use the cheese grater to make lemon zest. Use the whole lemon to make lemon zest.  The lemon zest should fall into the bowl. Hint: use a butter knife if you have some leftover and scrape it into the bowl.

Step 2: Take your bowl and place the cheese grater on top of the bowl.  Take the orange and use the cheese grater to make orange zest. Use the whole orange to make orange zest. The orange zest should fall into the bowl. Hint: use a butter knife if you have some leftover and scrape it into the bowl.

Step 3: Take 1-¾ cups of Epsom Salt and pour it into the airtight jar.

Step 4: Put the lemon and orange zest in the airtight jar.

Step 5: Cut the lemon in half and squeeze both halves of lemon juice into the airtight jar. Don’t forget to take out the seeds first!!!

Step 6: Repeat Step 5 but with the orange.

Step 7: Take a safety pin and punch a hole into the soft-gel pills and squeeze out the vitamin E into the airtight jar. Do this 6 more times.

Step 8: Use a teaspoon to stir up all the ingredients until you get a nice soft yellow color.

Step 9:  Close the airtight jar

Step 10: Decorate the jar by putting a Ribbon around it or glue a pretty gemstone on top.  You can do this to accent the bathroom or for a nice gift for someone.
**I just kept it basic by not putting a ribbon or gemstone on top. I wanted it to be authentic. The soft yellow color in the glass jar has a soft whimsical look.

Step 11: Enjoy!!! Ready, Set, Kawai!!!!
