Afro-Curl Look
I always love to
watch old films to get fashion inspirations. The movie Coffy starring Pam Grier had nice fashion. Pam Grier's looks were sexy, bold and groovy.
I
wanted to do the Afro look. I curled my hair really tight, did my make up in a
golden bronze touch and picked out a scarf that had a 1970’s look and wore some
thin gold earrings I made.
I was a little
skeptic about doing this look. Fashion is all about stepping out of your
boundaries and taking risks. I
fell in love with it, and want to do it again. Next time I want to wear some tribal pieces. I love the Afro
look!!!
Not everyone
loves this look. It took me a
really long time to like this look but now I embrace it in my own way by
elaborating my makeup and accessorize. If you are going to do this look,
accessorize and make your makeup pop with colors or with a bronzy glow.
